Update on Baby Promise
Dear Friends
Sorry again to do a circular letter but I have so little time to write.
The photos attached were taken today in Auckland.
We cannot thank you all enough for continuing to pray for our family.
Promise (our newly adopted daughter - yipeeee) is stable in Auckland Hospital. She has been on Oxygen since thursday to help clear her lungs of 'patches'.
This is to prepare her for open heart surgery this week.
Please continue to pray for her health.
We are believing God for a good operation for hole(s) in her heart.
We are believing God for healing for her many other complaints (Liver, lungs etc.....)
Thank you again for standing with us.
Promise has brought great joy and blessing to our family. Our children love her. Our church community in Taumarunui, Raetihi and around New Zealand totally love her. Along with so very many around the world who are emailing and writing your support. THANK YOU Thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
It is amazing how the Lord has led us into this right as we are expanding the ministry in Central plateau region in Turangi (Prison) and Raetihi and continuing in Taumarunui.
What is equally curious is all the constant theme on our hearts at the moment of the Father heart of God. He has placed such a burden for unwanted (so called unlovely) babies and children both born and pre-born; such a desire to see children housed, loved and placed in a family (our family!). All the while we are seeing God touch and infuse people with a fresh touch of the Father's love. Come on Jesus it is time for your people to swim in the ocean of your love. For this is His heart and why He came to earth to die and rise again:
"......so that he could adopt us as His very own children" (Gal 4:5b)NLT
therefore
“So you should not be like cowering, fearful slaves. You should behave instead like God’s very own children, adopted into his family--calling him “Father, dear Father.”” Romans 8:15, NLT.
remember Father speaking through Jeremiah the prophet:
“I thought to myself, ‘I would love to treat you as my own children!’ I wanted nothing more than to give you this beautiful land--the finest inheritance in the world. I looked forward to your calling me ‘Father,’ and I thought you would never turn away from me again.” Jeremiah 3:19, NLT.
Isn't Father just wonderful?
Please pray for Jesus to receive maximum glory through our constant contact with health professionals, social workers, students, Child protection agencies etc......and a whole host of other folks too numerous to mention.
Thank you again for your support
your friends
