"Please pray for our daughter"

Below is an email exchange I had with a missionary family this week:

Dear Cathy,

I saw this prayer & testimony site after reading about the Ortiz family in Israel. My husband and I are missionaries in the Philippines but came back to the states in March. We were scheduled for furlough this year, but just before we were to return, our 24 year old daughter attempted suicide. Please pray for our daughter Monica, for God's will to be accomplished in her life. At this time she is not walking with the Lord. Thank you for praying with us.

In His grace and love,

Sherry

Oh Sherry, bless your heart - how painful for you and your family! PRAISE JESUS your daughter was not successful in her attempt. May the Lord heal her heart as she comes to realize what a blessing she truly is not only to her heavenly Father but also to her family and friends I pray in Jesus name.

One thing that has helped me when struggling with mental torment is reading aloud 'who I am in Christ' - click here to read/print out.

Being a single parent for years and now grandmother to 3, the Lord has been my continued source of strength. 2002-2005 I lived in Berlin, Germany, as a missionary. For various reasons I am now back and the mission field for me is here in northern California. The Lord Jesus Christ is faithfully guiding us each day every step of the way - HALLELUJAH!

Isaiah 26:3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Do you want me to post your email on the blog?

blessings,
Cathy

Dear Cathy,

Thank you so much for your reply. Yes, I would greatly appreciate it if you would post a prayer request for our daughter. We covet all prayers at this time. Her greatest need right now is to be in a right relationship with God. The verse you sent (Isaiah 26:3) is the very verse God gave me during this time. I am standing on His promises. Thank you also for sending the "who I am in Christ". I have downloaded it and am going over all the verses. : ) May the Lord bless you Cathy for your encouragement and for helping post this prayer request for us.

by His grace and love,

Sherry & Lloyd

Dear heavenly Father, we thank you for Monica and plead the blood of Jesus over her right now. We come against any attack of the enemy on her through the power of the cross and we ask that You cancel any curse that may have been put on her. Lord, may faith rise up in our hearts. We repent of doubt, fear, worry, unbelief, disobedience and any other sin the Holy Spirit convicts us of in Jesus name. Bless this young woman and her family we pray. Thank You that we overcome the accuser of our brethren by the blood of the Lamb, by the word of our testimony and we love not our lives unto the death. May you, Lord Jesus, be glorified in all things we pray - amen!

Please pray for Dale and Angela

Just received this email requesting prayer:

A friend of ours employee needs immediate prayer...

DALE MUCIA is in intensive care after falling 40 feet onto the concrete on his head last night. He is a believer and his wife, ANGELA, just had a premature baby that weighs 2 lbs. and are also in the hospital.

THANK YOU for your prayers avail much!!!!

Let's join together and see the salvation of our God on behalf of these saints!!!!
NOTHING IS TOO DIFFICULT FOR YESHUA!!!!

JEREMIAH 30:17a says I will restore health unto thee and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the Lord.

--- end---

So dear heavenly Father, thank you and praise you and look to you for all things. We come to you in faith believing to ask for divine intervention for Dale's complete and total healing in Jesus name. Also please comfort and bless his wife and family and we ask that you please protect their little baby as well. Thank You Lord Jesus that you tell us in John 16, "Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you." So in faith believing we ask and put our complete trust in You, Lord God. Is anything too difficult for You? No, Halleluja! Thank You and amen.
